FarmPlus acquires 100% of Vitelia Agrocultuur shares

FarmPlus acquires 100% of Vitelia Agrocultuur shares

Description

Coöperatie Vitelia has transferred its 100% equity interest in subsidiary Vitelia Agrocultuur to Coöperatie FarmPlus as of October 1, 2025.

In June 2024, Coöperatie Vitelia announced a strategic partnership with Coöperatie ABZ Diervoeding. At the same time, research was conducted into the best interpretation of the strategic future perspective for its vegetable members, the buyers of Vitelia Agrocultuur.

The outcome of the review led to the transfer of Vitelia Agrocultuur's shares to Coöperatie FarmPlus. The interests of the vegetable members, customers and employees are thus optimally served.

FarmPlus' vision is to be active throughout the Netherlands as a supplier in all open cultivation, including arable farming, flower bulbs, fruit, tree nurseries and outdoor vegetables. The acquisition of Vitelia Agrocultuur is therefore a logical step.

Vitelia Agrocultuur will continue to operate from its locations in Lottum and Hazerswoude after the share transfer. The product range will remain the same and the familiar faces will continue to look after the interests of the customer; the name will eventually change to FarmPlus. The exception is the roughage activities, which will remain with Coöperatie Vitelia.

Nathalie van Hellenberg Hubar and Tom van Dijk assisted FarmPlus in this transaction.
