In recent years, EXPRO has grown strongly and has two other disciplines in addition to it services with EXPRO engineering and EXPRO telecom.

EXPRO it sees plenty of opportunities in the IT market, but also realizes that there is consolidation going on in the Managed Service Provider market. EXPRO it has focused on growth, both autonomously and through acquisitions, in order to acquire an (independent) position in the IT landscape and thus continue to work optimally and efficiently for clients. EXPRO it has engaged Taurus Corporate Finance for assisting in acquisitions.

Taurus has approached the management of EXPRO with the proposition Die Computer in Laren (Gld.). A brief introduction followed by a clear analysis of Die Computer and the possibilities for structuring the acquisition were quickly followed by an acquaintance with the owner of Die Computer. The parties clicked and the way of thinking and acting of EXPRO it and Die Computer were very similar, as a result of which buyer and seller quickly concluded that there was a match. After the negotiations and the execution of the due diligence investigation, the entire deal was realized in a short period of time.
