Rechtstreex raises investment through crowdfunding

Through crowdfunding, Rechtstreex has offered everyone the chance to become co-owners of its growing concept. Rechtstreex is building a local, short food chain with a network of customers, colleagues, neighborhood chefs, farmers and makers. They create a connection between producers, consumers and their food. In practice, that means a fair price for everyone, no food waste and access to fresh and healthy food from the region without unnecessary middlemen. Rechtstreex raised 200% of its target investment through crowdfunding platform CrowdAboutNow.

With the EUR 500,000 investment, Rechtstreex wants to reduce the ordering time, improve the website, launch a handy app and grow from 60 to 80 pick-up points by 2022. This will allow even more people to shop at local farmers and makers. Rechtstreex also wants to be able to pay its suppliers faster and take concrete steps with them to make the food system more sustainable.
