ICL Gaskets & Insulation (ICL) acquired by IPCOM

ICL Gaskets & Insulation (ICL) has been acquired by IPCOM.

Rotterdam ICL is a Dutch business specializing in high temperature sealing and insulation technology. IPCOM, headquartered in Belgium, is an ambitious and rapidly growing pan-European group of companies specializing in the distribution and conversion of innovative solutions for thermal insulation, high temperature insulation, passive fire protection and acoustic insulation.

Founded in 1987 by the Tournier family, ICL has become a leading player in providing technologically advanced solutions to heating system manufacturers in the residential, commercial and industrial HVAC markets. They offer a range of products, including the all-in-one burner insulation Pioneer®, the extremely heat-resistant gasket series Kerasil® and the innovative Ultra Low NOx furnace sleeves. In addition to their customized high-temperature solutions, they also offer various types of rubber and silicone gaskets. ICL serves customers in Europe and North America with a team of approximately 35 employees. Current management will remain involved with ICL.

IPCOM employs more than 1,300 people and provides its solutions through a network of more than 80 sales points in 16 countries in Europe. The acquisition of ICL fits well with IPCOM's Pan-European growth strategy to strengthen its High-Temperature Solutions division, the INSULCON Group.
