CZAV and CAV Agrotheek acquire a stake in Farm21 B.V.

Farm21 has developed an affordable sensor that, combined with an easy-to-use platform, enables hyper-localized farming decisions. Knowledge is data and data is power. CZAV and CAV Agrotheek also see the growing importance of precision agriculture and the special role of technology and data.

With this investment, CZAV and CAV Agrotheek aim to further stimulate the development of Farm21's platform. Farm21 can use the investment to give the development of their data platform a huge boost. The input of CAV Agrotheek and CZAV's crop advisors is an important key in the successful implementation of advisory models and decision support systems. This will create a platform where crop-related data streams are brought together with knowledge and experience from practice, on which advice can be based and which platform connects to existing management and decision support systems.
